What is this?
AI Insights is a report where Finance Ledger first calculates amounts, signals, evidence and priorities locally. External AI may only make the title and explanation clearer; it does not calculate financial values or perform actions.
What do you see?
You see the report source, a data-quality score, up to two primary and four additional opportunities, evidence for each card and a link to the relevant detailed data.
What can you do?
Review the privacy terms and give explicit consent, open the evidence for the first priority and use ‘Refresh insights’ after a material data change. You can withdraw consent from the ‘About this report’ section.
What does the result mean?
‘Verified calculations’ means the safe Finance Ledger rules-based version is shown. ‘AI summary’ means only the explanatory text was rewritten. If the AI service is slow, unavailable or returns an invalid result, the calculations remain available, and the last report stays on screen after a failed refresh.
How is the data protected?
Only minimised aggregate amounts, percentages, periods, standard categories and opaque references may be sent to the OpenAI API. Names, contact details, IBANs, card numbers, raw transactions, descriptions, documents, passwords and tokens are not sent. Requests use store: false, which is not Zero Data Retention; standard abuse-monitoring logs may retain content for up to 30 days.
