Getting started

First bank import

Connect a bank, load your first transactions and add older history if needed.

How do I start?

Open ‘Bank connections’ and follow these steps for each bank.

  1. Choose your bank and start connecting. On its page, authorise access to the accounts you want to track.
  2. After returning, check that accounts are available and each maps to the correct local account. Returning to the platform does not itself import transactions.
  3. Set ‘First import start date’ and select ‘Sync now’. Wait for the result before starting another refresh.
  4. Open ‘Imports’ → ‘Import history’ and check the result and new transaction count. A successful import may contain no new data.
  5. In ‘Transactions’, check dates, amounts and categories. Load your other accounts for the same period so transfers between them can be recognised.

How do I add older history?

This is a separate step after the first successful synchronization. Skip it if the available transactions are sufficient.

  1. In the bank connection, set ‘Earliest historical import date’ before the period already checked and select ‘Start historical import’.
  2. Confirm checking the next period of up to 30 days. After each successful attempt, use ‘Continue historical import’; you do not need a new date for each part.
  3. Continue until ‘History imported’ appears. After an error, progress stays at the last successful part. Use ‘Sync now’ for future transactions.

What if transactions are missing or the button is unavailable?

The selected date is a request to the bank, not a guarantee of complete history. Compare against your bank statement; older transactions may need a file import.

  • ‘Try after…’: wait until the displayed time. Repeated clicks do not remove the bank limit.
  • ‘Renew access’: complete bank authorisation and check the available accounts after returning. Then start the synchronization you need; renewal does not run it automatically.
  • If the error repeats, check the latest attempt in ‘Imports’ and send support the bank name, time and error message.
