Trace categories, trends and the individual purchases behind the total.
What do the main figures show?
Select a reporting period in Spending. You see total spending, daily average, spending transaction count and uncategorized transactions. The daily figure uses elapsed days in the period. Check dates before comparing an incomplete current period with a completed one.
How do I find individual purchases?
Select a category in Spending by category to see its transactions in the table below. Check date, description, account and amount. Largest expenses shows leading outgoing transactions; correct an incorrect category in Transactions.
What do the trend and pulse mean?
The 12-period trend lets you inspect a period and select it by clicking. Spending pulse compares the selected period with the average over the displayed 12 periods and highlights the main driver. No baseline means insufficient comparable data. An increase is a reason to investigate, not an automatic conclusion that spending was unnecessary.
