Adding a crypto investment
Choose an asset, enter quantity and purchase price, and track its euro valuation.
How do I add my coin holdings?
In Net worth, select Add investment and choose Crypto assets. This records a holding in the platform; it does not buy coins.
- Enter a name and optionally a wallet or provider.
- Choose a coin from the 30 assets ordered by market capitalization at the latest catalog update. The list is fixed and is not reranked each time you open it.
- Enter the quantity held and the average purchase price per coin in EUR, then save.
How are value and performance calculated?
Current value is quantity × CoinGecko quote in EUR. Cost basis is quantity × average purchase price. Performance is current value minus cost basis; a percentage is shown when cost basis is positive. This values the holding, rather than reporting completed sales.
Why can’t I save the investment?
A new holding or a change of coin requires a current valid price. If CoinGecko cannot provide it, saving is rejected and you can retry later. Editing the quantity of the same coin may use that coin’s last saved price, which remains marked as stale. A different coin’s price is never substituted.
When do prices refresh?
While Net worth is open, values refresh every 30 minutes. Check the quote timestamp and status. Use the separate Exchange accounts section to connect Kraken or Binance directly. Check whether the same holding is already included in the total before also adding it manually.
