Data and imports

Data health and checks

Understand signals about missing data, duplicates and bank connections.

What does the navigation indicator mean?

The number beside Data health counts checks needing attention, not transactions. Collapsed navigation shows a dot. An exclamation mark indicates unavailable checks when no confirmed checks need review. Opening the page does not automatically resolve the cause of the signal.

What should I check first?

Review bank-connection status and the last successful import, then possible duplicates, unclear categories and unmatched own transfers. Use each check's action to inspect the relevant data. A potential issue is not proof that a transaction is wrong.

Does an unavailable check mean the data is healthy?

No. Checking or Unavailable means there is no completed result. Wait or retry. Missing history is not zero spending, and finding no duplicate does not guarantee completeness. Compare with your statement if uncertain.

Do banks refresh automatically?

Checking status does not start a bank import. For new transactions, open Bank connections and select Sync now. Active bank consent does not imply current data; check the last successful refresh time.
